  • Meguiars Product in Winter

Is there any Meguiars cleaning product which I can store in the trunk of my car in winter months when the temperature can go down to -20c ? I don' t think so but it's worth to ask.

I currently keep Cleaner Wax, UC, UQW and UQD in my trunk.

That's too cold. Any temperatures below freezing point can be harmful for product storage.

As for applying products you needed temperature around or above 50*F (10*C).

Any of those products would freeze solid, or darn close to it, at those temperatures and the "lotion" consistency products (Cleaner Wax and UC) will be rendered unusable once they thaw out. UQW and UQD will be less prone to damage from temperature extremes but being that they are so watery in nature there's a high probability of them freezing solid and expanding to the point of bursting the bottles. At the very least, they'll be useless as quick detail or quick wax sprays when frozen. There's really zero upside to leaving any of these in your trunk during the winter in your locale.

^ i have an insolated lunch bag....I use it to carry my bottle of UQD & NXT glass cleaner, along with a bunch of MFs...........leave it by the door so I just grab & go.
Funny thing is when I get to the office, people say..."hey you packed a lunch?" I just laugh.......I'm just car crazy.

Take it from me....DO NOT STORE IN YOUR TRUNK IN THE WINTER!!! Trust me I know from experience! Last winter the majority of my detailing gear spent the winter in the trunk of my car due to my forgetfulness, it got down to 0F (-17C) several times and as a result I lost a lot of my liquids. Gone were ColorX, ScratchX, M07, M26, Wheel Brightener, Mothers Chrome Polish, the new rubbing AND polishing compound, UQW, GC Trim Detailer, PlastX......and it goes on. A pretty expensive lesson learned and still learning. Amazingly enough though, UC, SwirlX, NXT 2.0, and mag n alum polish (paste) survived, I don't know how but they did!

Moral of my story......Keep them inside!
