  • Ulitmate wash and wax followed by ultimate quick wax question

Just realized that uww has carnuaba in it. I know that you are not suppose to layer a synthetic (uqw) over carnuaba, but it is ok the other way around. Does this hold true for the uww?

I would assume that the wax in UWW is very minimal. Any wax added on top of it will be beneficial for your finish.

UQW has a mix of both carnauba and synthetic polymers in it. You should be fine applying it after washing your car with UWW. The same saying goes with NXT 2.0 or Ultimate Wax.

It would be fine UQW after UW&W.

You're gonna like what that combo can do to your paint.

Not only will you be perfectly fine doing this, as Greg points out you're most likely going to like what you end up with for very minimal effort. Sure, it's not like doing a 10 hour machine detailing on your car, but what amounts to a simple wash and spray, it's a great combination.
