I've been thinking about starting this thread for awhile. Now we have a Season of Sharing so it would be nice to see what everybody else uses to make our detailing sessions more enjoyable, faster and easier.
Here's my contribution:

Nomad Portable Pressure Washer - 12V cigarette lighter/ 18V battery operation - great for areas when water hose is not available but waterless or rinseless car washes can't be used due to vehicle's condition (too dirty).

Grit guards - absolutely a must, especially for cars with softer clear coats, great tools to prevent swirl marks.

Detailing brushes - wheels, emblems, interiors, they are extremely helpful for all those areas.

Brinkmann Xenon Swirl Finder Light - for paint inspection and defect removal progress. We can't always depend on sunlight.

Kneeling pads - I like to have them around when I work on lower panels and to have my polisher next to me without scratching it.

Hi Tech Magna Sponge - clay bar replacement, definitely easier to use and if accidentally dropped requires just water rinse off and it can be reused.
WARNING: may cause some marring, especially on softer paints.

Chemical resistant pressure washer (with hand pump) - great for quick wheel rinsing, clay lubricant, waterless car wash, quick detailer or spray wax applications. Applies much more uniform layer. Nozzle is adjustable.

Shop-Vac wet/ dry vacuum - superb for interior jobs and it can be used as carpet extractor as well.

Wheeled detailing cart - having all tools, liquids within easy reach - priceless.

Fender well, upholstery, tire and wheel brushes - great companion set.

E-Z Up Instant Canopy - if there's no shadow available we can create it. Super easy to set up and fold away (one person operation).

Portable leaf blower - car drying, engine bay dust/ leaf removal. This Makita model has great battery life and 3-speed setting. It's quite powerful for portable unit.

Paint Thickness Gauge (PTG) - I like to know if enough paint is available to work on. A must while sanding or heavy compounding is performed.
