Is above which carnauba wax you recommend for black color to give high gloss looking. Of course this would be after the clay/polishing process is complete.

Re: Which carnauba wax for dark color
Gold Class should fit your needs. One advantage it has over m26 is that GC is a polish-wax (wax with polishing oils), so it can give deeper gloss than m26. But on a well prepped surface, the difference may be negligible.

If you're really set on using the Gold Class, may i suggest you also get the Gold Class Detailer and Quik wax to complete the "Gold Class Protection System"
You may also want to try using a pure polish like deep crystal or #7, or a cleaner-polish like ultimate polish for minor defects) but as far as i know gold class is a polish-wax already. But for me, i'd still use a pure polish for extra depth, even if it may seem redundant.

[For what it's worth...On old paint, I use a base coat of UW and after curing, a second coat of the Gold Class. Thereafter, the new Gold Class quickwax and detailer as needed.
I need the protection and either I am getting glaucoma or I also get the warmth and richness that the Gold class provides.]Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts.

Re: Which carnauba wax for dark color
Gold Class Carnauba Plus may not be the most durable meguiars product, but if looks is what one is after, then Gold Class should do the trick. Waxing is good therapy anyway, and the results are well worth the effort. Even if it means having to wax more frequently, and with the arrival of the Gold Class Detailer and quik wax, it makes it easier to maintain that just gold CLassed look for longer periods of time.

It depends on what you do in your polishing steps, if you use something high(er) in polishing oils like Ultimate Polish or 205 then it is probably negligible benefit for the work, the Gold Class does a real good job of adding gloss and darkening the paint on it's own.Bob Turkovich

I believe Gold Class is a wax that contains polish. So using #7 may not be as beneficial, if you have #7 already, why not try it out and see if the benefits are big enough for you to use it before applying Gold Class.

Following the recomendation: I worked M7 into my hood, , let it completely dry , and removed it .
Then:
UW -base coat
Gold Class Paste -second coat
Gold Class quick wax/detailer -after each wash.
Gold Class paste -every 2-3 months
Did it make any difference? I don't know.
I believe the paint looked darler from the GC, but the hood didn't look any darker than the rest of the car.Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts.

Re: Which carnauba wax for dark color
I used the Gold class paste this wekend and wiped off with Gold class QD. The result was amazing it's for sure draken and add very good gloss to the black color. My question is that since I enjoy waxing/polishing my car. I would like to ask this since gold class is carnauba/polish product is the polishing agents contain any abrasive or it's pur oil polish. Please advice-thanks to all.
