  • Question about Hot Shine

The bottle says to not get this product on the paint and if it does to remove it. I applied this product to my wheels and let it sit overnight, however there was still sling when I drove the truck. Why does hot shine sling so easily if it is recommended to not get on the paint? I am thinking about returning this product and trying the hot shine gel but I can't find it anywhere close.

      Re: Question about Hot Shine

The way I apply endurance gel produces no sling. I apply a moderate amount, wait a few minutes, then wipe it off. The tire looks wet, but is dry to the touch.

so you bought the spray one ?

Make sure you spray it to a dry tire, wet tire will make it sling more
Try to wipe down a bit after you spray the tire with hot shine... It's will significanly reduce the sling
That work for me at least

I haven't use Hot Shine yet, but I do use blackmagics tire foam. It slung on me once as well so now what I do is apply it, let it sit for a bit, then spray some foam on a towel or something and wipe the tire so it helps absorb the extra product. This reduced all slinging on my paint. Tires still look wet and black after wiping.

Yes I have the spray one. I sprayed and then wiped with a foam applicator. Do you think the sling can ruin the paint after a while?
