The bottle says to not get this product on the paint and if it does to remove it. I applied this product to my wheels and let it sit overnight, however there was still sling when I drove the truck. Why does hot shine sling so easily if it is recommended to not get on the paint? I am thinking about returning this product and trying the hot shine gel but I can't find it anywhere close.

Re: Question about Hot Shine
so you bought the spray one ?
Make sure you spray it to a dry tire, wet tire will make it sling more
Try to wipe down a bit after you spray the tire with hot shine... It's will significanly reduce the sling
That work for me at least

I haven't use Hot Shine yet, but I do use blackmagics tire foam. It slung on me once as well so now what I do is apply it, let it sit for a bit, then spray some foam on a towel or something and wipe the tire so it helps absorb the extra product. This reduced all slinging on my paint. Tires still look wet and black after wiping.Always searching for the best.... Keep it country!
