    Ultimate compound (Headlights!)

    Sorry i'm writing another post already, but today when I was using Ultimate compound on my 96 civic I came to a part of my car I am frustrated with, and that is the headlights. They are very yellow and foggy. I didn't have the money to buy the heavy duty headlight restoration kit, so when I was using the compound I said, oh what the heck I'll give it a whirl. I really worked the compound into the plastic cover and buffed it off. It suprized me that the yellow was completely gone and most of the fogginess went away also. Later down the road I'll use the kit to really get it good. But for right now they look cool! Wasn't expecting that one, thats Cool.

    Probably dont need the kit then, maybe another application or two.

    Just be sure to wax them, or use the headlight protectant after.

    They are yellow because the UV coating is gone, so have to keep at them now.

      You could have bought some PlasticX and not the whole headlight kit. Walmart sells the bottle for like $8.

        Ultimate Compound is a very versatile product so it's no big shock to us that it worked so well on your headlights. By the way, no need to apologize for making several posts in a short period of time - that's what we're here for! Besides, Murr needs someone to challenge his post count!
