Confused! What tire dressing should I use?

Hi guys,

I'm confused with what tire dressing to use. I clean my tires with either diluted APC or the Gold Class Wash that is left over after I clean my car.

I currently spray on hot shine foam but I saw Endurance Gel and Spray today. What is the difference between the Hot shine tire foam and the Endurance Spray?

Endurance spray I believe is water based, hot shine might not I don't know if that's the difference. But I like endurance spray for ease of use and it gives a nice black look to the tire. Not to glossy is what I like but you can do a second coat for more shine.

Endurance (spray/gel/aerosol) are all petroleum based, which makes them last longer. Since petroleum (oil) and water don't mix, rain doesn't wash away Endurance, so it really gives the tires a nice color for a while.

I know the product choices are overwhelming, but if you have something and you are happy with it, then keep using it. Try something else from time to time to see if you like that better. You'll find there's a time and a place for one product vs. the other.

Hot shine will more than likely be shinier and glossier than endurance -- this may be a plus or minus depending on the look you are going for. Endurance will probably keep the tire looking blacker for longer (I find all the gloss wears off just about any product within a few days anyways).

Endurance spray will last longer. I rather using Endurance Gel because its glossier. HS is water based and doesnt last that long.
It all comes on how you want your tires to look. Deep gloss? ===> Endurance , Natural and Hot? =====> HS

I've used spray, foam and gel and by far I like endurance gel the best. It takes a little bit longer to apply compared to the foam and spray but the gel lasts longer which makes sense since it is thicker.
