2012 all wheel cleaner

I used the 2012 wheel cleaner and thought it had rinsed completely. There are small spots of the white acid dried up. Should I just use it again to take off? They are factory civic rims. Thanks

You could try doing it again on just where the spots are and see where that gets you. If that dosent do the trick try some UP or Cleaner wax on a yellow hand pad.

If you've actually managed to stain the wheel using this product, you're better off using a light paint cleaner like SwirlX, ScratchX 2.0 or even Ultimate Compound to try and remove it.

Did you work on one wheel at a time from start to finish, or did you spray all 4 wheels and then go back to the first one to start agitating and hosing off?

Thanks Mike, I spray one wheel at a time and waited 30-35 secs and clean the wheel, hosed it down after.

I would try re washing the wheel with soap & water.

Hey pat - i have used several wheel cleaners in in the past - I use XCLR8 as in( excel er 8) - its a heavy duty wheel cleaner and its incredible, I have used this stuff for a few years now and I love it, its about $60 for a 5 gallon bucket but like they say. " less is more " beware, when you spray it on the wheel do NOT. Let it sit any longer then 4 - 5 seconds, simply do one wheel at a time.

Is Wheel Brightener good for cleaning the tire as well as the rim like the All Wheel & Tire Cleaner?
