I have been using this to clean factory coated aluminum rims, and like it, but I would like to get something more cost friendly. What is a good replacement?

Meguiar's Wheel Brightener is the most cost effective wheel cleaner they offer. But you have to be careful not to use them on bare aluminum wheels.2011 Car Crazy Showcase SEMA Team -

I've never tried Wheel Brightener, as I try and keep as few products around as necessary. I am able to get wheels very clean with APC+ and a little elbow grease.Comment

Or you can try cleaning them very well, then using the Brake Dust Barrier and just your car wash soap. Seems to be working ok for me so far.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR BlueComment
