  • New paint, Buff and Wax?

What do you do if you just got new paint? (Including duration/wait times)

I've been told many different things for people. Some say right after works. Some say wait a few months.
Maybe you guys know the definitive answer.

    Thank you

Assuming you mean freshly sprayed like from a repair shop, the best answer is to talk to the repair shop. They should give the best recomendation, as they will know what the paint vendor says, and if they do any baking, etc.

If you have no guidance, then 60-90 days before waxing is a general idea.

You can do any washing, claying, cleaning, polishing anytime, just need to hold off on the wax.

Yes sir that's exactly what I meant
Okay, Thank you. They said to do it right after. It just seemed to be alot of other opinions.

But thank you for the 60-90.

      Aside from that
Usually, I wax every month. Clay bar every 6 months.
      Seemed like a good cycle.
