  • Black chevy faded

Bought son a black chevy in dire need of cleaning. Have a DA polisher was gonna use ultra cut compound, ultimate compound, ultimate polish, then finish with ultimate wax. Does that seem right? If so which pads should I use with what product. Hasn't had any exterior care in 8 years.

    1. Wash
    2. Clay
    3. Clean - Ult. Compound - Polishing pad. If your test spots, or test panel dont show much improvement after an application or two, then you could try the #105 instead.
    4. Polish - Ult. Polish - Polishing pad
    5. Wax - Finishing pad

Walmart has Megs smooth surface clay kit. and it is very easy to use. Just follow directions that come with it.

There are other brands... Walmart would likely have Meguiars, and maybe something from Mothers, not sure.

I would break the bar into a smaller piece or two.. then just flatten it out, mist the surface, and slide it across.. pretty easy really, and many videos online as well.

Just dont drop it on the ground.
