What kind of process or special attention, if any, is there going over a those swooshy decals on the side of a truck using UC and UP? Thanks in advance!

    make sure you don't.
the ink can transfer into your pad and then into the paint.
you can turn a white car pink, light blue etc.
Use vinyl products on vinyl and paint products on paint.

I'd avoid doing anything with a machine, however I doubt UP gently by hand would hurt anything.

Follow it up with your favourite wax (by hand) or something like UQW...

The problem with vinyl graphics is...all vinyl is not equal. For sure avoid using a machine on them or anywhere near the edges. Some vinyls can dry out with wax applied to them. How do you know which are safe to wax? Dang near impossible. The vehicle mfgr. usually has no clue. Only the mfgr. of the vinyl can tell you for sure and how do you know who that is? As stated, stick to vinyl products on vinyl and hope for the best
