I'm looking to buy a good foam gun to help cut down the time to safely was my car without damaging the paint. Does anyone recommend a good foam gun that attaches to a water hose? I do not have or want a pressure washer.

Re: Any reccomendations?
You want to look at the Gilmour Foammaster type, with the brass adjustable valve. 1 Quart is usually big enough.
For my opinion though, I love mine, but I dont think it nessicerily saves any time. Still have to go aound and wash the car, while dragging a hose.... many may view it as more of a hassle...2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: Any reccomendations?
I want it mostly because it would lessen the chances of creating swirls. I'm having trouble with swirls still and I use the two bucket system with one grit gaurd in the rinse bucket. Why would it not shorten the time? Wouldnt I just soak the car and use a bucket to wash/rinse followed by hosing it off?Am i obsessed?? A car is the second biggest financial investment for most people, why not keep it looking better than new?

Re: Any reccomendations?
The Meguiars soaps arent really meant to cling (although I have not used the Super Soap), so the foam slides off fairly easily, esp when well waxed, just a bit slower.
For me, I think the goal is similar as far as being as safe as possible. So to have the most soap (lubrication) on the surface, you pretty much have to spray a panel and then wash that panel right away. Similar to a regular two-bucket system, just that you are able to get a layer of soap across the entire panel to start with, catch it with your mitt before it does slide off, and then add more right away if it seems like you need it.
I generally use mine near the 128:1 ratio like you would usually. Perhaps a higher ratio would give a clingier foam.... but you may also get into the usual problems of soap film left behind and faster removal of wax.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue
