Re: Newbie - Another Wax Question

Thanks guys. I work at a shipping pier so i get all the dirt/dust from the trucks in and out of the docks. The problem with the coin op is the water gives the black water spots cause its recycled unlike my home faucet. Its just a vicsous cycle. Appreciate the insight

Oh, I see. In that case, since it sound's like you're parked, I'd get a cover for it while you're at work - and do not pay attention to the jealous responses you'll get from co-workers, it's your vehicle. Then rinse and wash, blow/flood dry at home as we've described. That should make a huge difference

I would park it in an area that would get less issues if possible, car covers are evil, fine when a car is garage kept and using the cover in the garage.

Then once you get it home spray it down really good and flood it, dry using Ultimate Quick Detailor or Ultimate Liquid Wax like every few days, if it doesn't rain....

Would cut down on your washing times, and keep it looking good between washes.

After Washing use Ultimate Quick wax while drying using the flooding method.
