  • White Wax

I have a silver car and have been using ULW with excellent results.

I am antsy to try another product. How about White Wax. Since it is a newer product, maybe it's better?

    Re: White Wax

Well, they are really different products.

Ulw it's a wax, while white wax is a somewhat strong cleaner wax.

So the best thing would really be white wax then ulw.

They are two different products: Ultimate Wax is a finishing wax (no abrasives) and White Wax is a cleaner wax/all in one product (light abrasives).

Ultimate wax is also the longest lasting wax that is currently offered by meguiar's.

I also use Cleaner Wax in the professional series every other time.
How does White Wax compare to Cleaner Wax?

            Re: White Wax

I have read that white wax is on par with D151 cleaner wax, which is very good. I would give the edge to white wax over M6.

When you use white wax...how long should you wait to apply the ULW?

Like all other 2nd wax coat, the theoretically cure time of the 1st coat is 24 hours. You can get away with a few hours of wait time.

I myself do not apply 2nd coat anymore. I found out from this forum that the 2nd coat only ensures coverage but has no added protection or shine to the paint. Since I wax often (once a month), if I miss a spot this time, it will be covered next time.

                  12-24 hours would be good.
