I ended up using an orange pad and UC to remove body shop swirls and scratches. I tired M205 and a white pad first on my test spot, didn't get the job done. But boy was I surprised how well the UC finished out! It was lsp ready without using the M205 after. Thank you Meguiars! If you haven't tried UC I HIGHLY recommend it!!!!

Re: Ultimate Compound
Great news! Any pics?Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Re: Ultimate Compound
UC/UP or M105/M205 should be in everyone's arsenal. Great products indeed.

Re: Ultimate Compound
And now you see why UC is our go-to product in our Saturday Classes. It's very rare that we really need to step up to something more aggressive, and it's also rare that you really need to do a second step before waxing. That often shocks people, but sometimes that's just the way it is.
Glad to hear you had such a great experience with UC, ORANGERT!Michael Stoops
