  • D106/D116 Questions

I posted this in the original thread on these products, but didn't get any responses. I figured there might be more exposure in here:

I just got the sampler of these two from ADS today and I'm excited to put them to work and see what they can do. I'm clear on using D106 at 20:1 to neutralize things, and it sounds like for bad tannin stains, D106 full strength is best, but I'm not 100% sure on D116 and protein stains. Can D116 just be diluted with water or does it need to be mixed with D106 as well as the little pamphlet thing states?

I know these are interior products - which seem less interesting to discuss, but I'm surprised these products aren't getting a little more buzz on here, I'd love to hear other people's first hand experiences with them.

      Re: D106/D116 Questions

Thanks Michael, I did watch that video a few weeks ago before ordering, and it was super helpful, although not much was mentioned about different ways to dilute the product. Maybe I'll watch it again and see if I pick up on anything else. Thanks, has anyone on here actually used this product yet?

This new video should shine a bit more light on things for you: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YStLokdQVRE

Thanks mike, that video is helpful although still brief on the actual dilution ratios. It sounds as if you need to use the mixture of D106/D116/water on all protein stains, correct? Or is it possible (or beneficial at all) to simply use D116 and water? And should D106 always be used at full strength when treating stains or can it be diluted? Just want to make sure I'm not using too aggressive of a method if it's not needed.

Sorry for for all the questions, these are just so different than other products with much less info/conversations on here and I want to make sure I'm using them in the best way possible. Thanks again!
