Anyone know of any problems using Mequiars detailer sprays on fresh paint??, is it suitable for fresh paint??. Would like to hear Mequiars offical stand on this if possible. Thanks...

Re: Detailer Spray for Fresh Paint??
Yes, how long has it been? On relatively freshly painted cars, I would choose either the original quik detailer (maroon bottled one), last touch (had a gallon of it before and loved it) or final inspection. Ultimate Quik Detailer has a bit of polymer protection that may affect the out gassing of the paint.

Re: Detailer Spray for Fresh Paint??
I have personally used Last touch on fresh paint (as in 2-3 days old),that I had painted, no problems at all. I am looking for offical Meguiars recommendations as far as the various "quick detailer" sprays are concerned.
Thanks All.........Hopefully Michael will chime in......

Re: Detailer Spray for Fresh Paint??
Personally, I think it wouldn't matter (at least with the older QD or LT products), but the official Meg's word on that may be different..Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
