  • Anyone Used 365 Yet?

Wondering what everyone thoughts are on 365 and how it should behave. I've never used a product like this, so Idk what should be happening.

I put it on nice and thin(thin as I can, it is basically water) and applied like I normally would. Let it sit for around 10minutes since I was piddling around in the garage and got carried away. Went to wipe it off and its much like an oil. I folded the megs mf several times and it looks good overall.

Its been in the garage for 3 days now and I can still see little designs if I move my finger around on the paint. Its not been driven, so no dust to make swirls.

Dang, I shouldve look in there before starting a new thread. I had read through most of it.

So the oils Im seeing are carrier oils. Gotcha.

I also put that up so that you don't wash it too soon and get the full benefits of 365. I'm curious to hear your initial thoughts after a few weeks. I'm still waiting for mine to show up.

So it's still oily after 3 days? That doesn't sound right.

Even though it may need 1 week to fully cure, it shouldn't be behaving like that. At least I don't think so...

Unless it needs to get out of the garage and be exposed to the sun / heat? I believe it's pretty cold in your part of the world ATM right?

It would be good to hear other experiences, or Mike's input.

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.

Yes sir, the surface is still oily. It says on the bottle to allow 24hrs for it to cure. Maybe it means its ok to drive it in the rain/wash it after 24hrs, not sure.

Yes, its fairly cool in this area. Had 0F a week ago but, 50F today. Wild temps, thats for sure.

I wont be driving for a few more days. Give it some more time to cure.

              Re: Anyone Used 365 Yet?

I did 365 on the Booboo van yesterday in the heated garage after a two bucket wash. Application was a breeze. Started with an X on the foam pad which did headlights, hood and both front quarter panels. Then a line on the pad for front two doors, another line for tailgate, etc. A little bit does go a long way. I let 365 sit on the paint for about 10 minutes because that is how long it took me to go around the Booboo van. I then wiped finish with 2 Supreme Shine MF towels. Afterward I looked at the finish from different angles and saw some occasional oily spots that got wiped off. This morning in cold bright sunlight it looked great. The earliest the Booboo van will get washed again will be this coming weekend, weather permitting. I'll post pics up at that time of water beading before and after wash. Wash will be with Gold Class.

I have been looking for that stuff all over, however it seems rarer than hen's teeth. I think I have a better chance of seeing an alien space ship than a bottle of 365.

Indeed, this is a very unique product with very unique chemistry. A week or so after application, when you wash the car for the first time post-application, you will see an increase in beading and any of those "carrier oils" will be washed away.

Since it's brand spanking new, and already proving quite popular, it can be a bit tricky to find. Add to that the fact that online retailers and brick and mortar places handle product differently and it's not a big shock that you're having a hard time finding it locally. Online retailers just get stuff in, stick it on a shelf in their warehouse still packed in cases, and sell it right away. They don't have to present a nice display for customers, other than on a web page. Brick and mortar sellers have to reset their planagrams (basically their shelf layout) once everything new has arrived in their warehouse - that includes new items from us, and all of our competitors. They also want to finish off any sales or promotions they may have. That means your local brick and mortar retailers may not have new items on store shelves until February or even March. There are exceptions, of course, but for the large chains that's usually the way it goes.

Thanks Michael. I can wait until February or March when I am sure Wally World will have it. I hate to buy something on line for $10 and then pay close to that for shipping. I will wait.. Waiting is half the fun.
