    Seal and Wax??

    I have been using carnauba wax and ultimate quick wax for a very long time, never had problems. However i am new to sealants. I have purchased a bottle of Meguiar's Paint Protect ( product # G36516 ).

    My question about the product is:

    Can i apply this product and still use Ultimate Fast Wax on to of it for a deep shine.

    being unsure i did not want to apply a layer and then have something bad happen when i wax the car.

    You can use any quick detailer or quick wax with Paint Protect as your base. Over time you may be seeing the effects of whatever product is the topper. In this case ultimate quik wax.

      Well if you've been using UQW, that technically is a sealant (a spray sealant), so you're not really new to them!

      You'll be fine doing what you've proposed - in fact it's an excellent course of action.

        I have been using Paint Protect and Ultimate Quick Detailer for almost a year now and it seems to be a great combination.

          We would agree that using Meguiar's Paint Protect for protection and Ultimate Quik Wax for maintenance would be a great combination. The use of a spray wax can significantly increase the life of your original wax/sealant coating. Remember that our spray waxes should be applied to a clean surface, free of dust or dirt.
