I'm installing a spoiler on my car that was painted last Friday. I'm washing my car this Friday; can I use Meguiar's Wash and Wax?

Re: Freshly painted part...
I agree. Something like Deep Crystal or Hyperwash.

Re: Freshly painted part...
As DasBurninator has said, any product with wax could not allow the paint to properly out gas and cure. We would agree and not recommend using our Ultimate Wash & Wax on a freshly painted panel/car. Any other Meguiar's car washes are OK to use on fresh paint. The shop which painted the piece should be able to give you their recommendations for how long to allow the panel to cure before waxing. Generally the recommendation is 60-90 days before waxing on fresh paint.Nick Winn

Re: Freshly painted part...
Yeah. Guy at the shop said 60 days. I was wondering how much of a wax layer the Ultimate Wash and Wax was putting down. I think I've also got the Deep Crystal at the house (is that the purple one?). But my car looks a lot better after Wash and Wax and I have a car show this Saturday!!!! LOL2014 Mustang GT 6-Speed Manual

Re: Freshly painted part...
Meguiar's Ultimate Wash & Wax is no joke, it will truly leave wax protection on the paint even after rinsing & drying, not to mention great gloss like you have experienced.
You can still use a polish like Meguiar's Ultimate Polish, M205 Ultra Finishing Polish, or even Show Car Glaze on the fresh paint while it is curing. A polish like the ones I have mentioned can be used and will still allow the paint to out gas and cure, plus are going to deliver awesome gloss.Nick Winn

By-the-way, I installed the new spoiler yesterday and I am thrilled with it!
I had to hit the trunk lid with Quick Detailer, Scratch X, and then resorted to Ultimate Polish, then Ultimate Liquid Wax before mounting the spoiler. What a PITA removing the stock nub spoiler!!!!

Re: Freshly painted part...
Spoiler looks good. You could wash a majority of the car with wash & wax and then deep crystal on just the spoiler. Just another option.
Don't forget the tire dressing. They are looking like they could use a fresh application.

You are not the only one who prefers a stock, low sheen, original appearance for a conditioner on tires! Meguiar's #M40 Mirror Glaze Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner has been a favorite among many for a long time to provide this appearance on tires.Nick Winn

LOL) Of course, if there was such a store in my area, my wife would kill me. I'd fill a damn shopping cart with Meguiar's stuff I want to try (like a real DA!!!!!!!!)
Like I mentioned in your other thread you can have them order other stuff in as well for local pick up.
