Hi, I was wondering if it were possible to use a regular 4" foam pad with the DA Power System? They are not tapered like the Meguiars pads so there will be some overlap with the 3" mounting plate. Will this affect the pads function? If that's the case I'll just get the 3" pads.
The problem is that I want more cut than the yellow pad offers but not as much as the red compounding pads. I figure the orange Lake Country pad would b perfect with my AIO.
(I am getting a real DA soon but I want to do some spots in the mean time and will keep this system for smaller areas since it does work great for what it is)
