  • Question about Ultimate Quik Wax

So, firstly I have to say that I am huge fan of Megs products together with some of Dodo Juice Carnauba Waxes (Blue Velvet to be precise).
Until now and hope in future my routine is:

    1. after panels prep I first apply 1 coat of Meguiars Ultimate liquid wax and after 12 hours

    2. two coats of Dodo Juice Blue Velvet Carnauba Wax waiting 12 hours between coats

For regular maintain I use Ultimate Quik Detailer but I want to add Ultimate Quik Wax as a booster after car wash.

So, my question is about using Ultimate Quik Wax over carnauba wax finish - is it bad idea or it is does not matter.
Will I loose that warm Carnauba look after using Ultimate Quik Wax over carnauba.

    Thx

Re: Question about Ultimate Quik Wax

UQW (D156) works equally well over a sealant or a wax, IME. I personally follow my weekly washes with UQW. Paint stays slick and this extends the life of the original LSP by months. I've not noticed any loss of the "carnauba look". I use M26 as a base wax on my 25 YO red MR2 and UQW doesn't alter that warm glow appearance for me.
