Congrats on the new car. Could you give us more detail on what you are looking to do. Photos always help to understand what defects you are seeing.

Congrats on the new to you car! Are you working by hand or machine? Are you looking to get the best results or maybe looking to do a quick clean up to increase gloss & add protection. This will help us help you choose the right products.

If working by machine, what type of machine? If your goal is to try to achieve the best results, first would be to wash the vehicle. Next when the paint is clean & dry, we would recommend evaluating for any bonded above surface contaminants. The can be done by physically feeling the paint to see if the paint feels rough, when the paint is clean and dry. If the paint does not feel completely smooth or feels a little rough, we would recommend using a clay bar like our Smooth Surface Clay Kit to remove these bonded above surface contaminants. After claying, it is time to evaluate for below surface defects or defects "within" the clear coat. This can be done by using good light. Direct Sunlight, Florescent lights, or even a LED pen light a good example. If the vehicle has moderate to heavy swirls & scratches, our Ultimate Compound can be used by hand, orbital, or DA to remove them. The next step is to polish, which is not required, but is recommended if you are looking to get the best gloss, especially if you have a darker colored vehicle. Ultimate Polish will work to further refine the paint finish & increase gloss. Last step is to wax, our currently our Ultimate Wax is our most premium, top tier option. Hope this helps!
