  • how much "cut" of mild cleaners

Very basic question: two products with mild cleaners-M20 and Ultimate Polish- is the abrasive in these products enough to remove non-oxidized clearcoat?

I'm not sure with M20. My inclination is to say "not much".

Ultimate Polish will indeed remove a negligible amount - if needed. I've removed 3000 grit sanding marks with UP, and a polishing pad on a Porter Cable. No problem.

I believe M20 does it's job by chemical cleaning. Ultimate Polish contains SMAT abrasives. Ultimate Polish would get my recommendation if you are looking to remove defects. If you just want to clean the paint then M20 would be the product to use.
