I just recently bought a brand new 2020 Nissan Altima which I love. I admit that I am very much a perfectionist. I wash my car weekly and wax it regularly. I drive the highway to and from work every day but I make sure I keep a decent distance between me and the car in front of me. I have just around 2000 miles on my car and yesterday when washing it, I noticed two small stone chips in the lower bumper. the one looks more like a stone ding where the paint isn't really missing but maybe some clear coat damage. I know this is going to happen, I'm not that silly but I guess my question is, how do you guys deal with this mentally? I mean you can't really see them if you are walking up to the car unless you are specifically looking for them.
I think my mind is blowing this out of proportion and overthinking this. In my mind I feel like if I keep getting chips at this rate, how will it look in a few years? Thanks for the mental support!
