HELP! Golf cart detailing. No detailing experience

I am a complete rookie when it comes to this detailing stuff. I have a jet black 2016 Club Car golf cart that has swirl marks in the paint. The products I have tried using are Meguiar’s 205 and 83 products with a Bauer 6” Random Orbit DA Polisher and a fine foam polishing pad from Harbor Freight. No success. Again, I have tried to watch some YouTube videos on polishing and what not, but have had no luck in getting rid of the swirls. I understand black colors show almost ever little imperfections but I was just curious if anyone had any tips, other products, etc. to help me out. Thanks in advance!

Interesting, I would think even with a finishing pad you would see some defect removal. My recommendation would be to try a foam polishing pad, like Meguiar's DFP5 Soft Buff D/A Foam Polishing Disc, again with M205. My next thought would be let's discuss your technique, what speed are you using, how large or area are you working in, how many passes are you performing within that area, are you applying moderate pressure, moderate arm speed pace, is the pad consistently rotating? You may just need a couple simply adjustments, might make all the difference. You can also use this article for reference:
