Cars Finish Catagories?

I am in the process of collecing information to identify the types of vehicle finishes one would expect to describe their finish shape from New Finish to a really poor(Heavy Oxidation) finish. Are there catagories or levels that this would apply? For Example:

Catagory 1: New/Like New
Catagory 2: New/Like New w/Contaminents

Catagory 3: New/Like New w/ Swirls
Catagory 4: New/Like New w/ Swirls and Embedded Contaminents

and so on..........

It would seem there would be catagories such as this to easier explain ones finish level.

Can anyone help?
