would it be okay to use a spray detailer on non-clear coated polished aluminum rims. i have final inspection, quik detailer, and nxt speed detailer. yes i'm addicted to Meguiars. lol.

Yes, it is perfectly safe to use these products on uncoated, polished aluminum. -
i have found that qd or the nxt sd, works great on just about anything. after i get done dressing the wheels, i spray dq on a towel and wipe any tire dressing off the rims.

Could possibly even consider putting a coat or 2 of wax on them .
I have Chrome wheels and use NXT Spray Wax on them for a little bit of protection. Then with each wash I find after drying things, a MF lightly misted with speed detailer does the trick. Sometimes there is even no need to do a final buff but that depends on how moist I get the first MF with the Speed Detailer.
The local shop where I got them recommends only using WINDEX on them (again, I am talking chrome here) but I like the added protection of the wax. Makes routine maintenance wiping a breeze as well.
Besides, I don;t even use Windex on my windows. Why would I want it on my Chrome Wheels.Jeff Smith
