  • #21 over ColorX

Do I need t allow ColorX to cure for 12-24 hours before topping with #21?

I don't mind the wait if durability is improved.

My guess is no, only sealants need to cure.

      Hey,

If you are planning on using ColorX for its protection from is Polymers, then I would suggest leaving it overnight before topping it with #21.

On the bottle of ColorX there is a statement that it contains "Extra long-lasting polymer protection", which usually indicates a synthetic polymer that needs time to "cross link."

Really I guessed wrong then, sorry . I always thought Color X was a paintcleaner, didn't know it protects and contains polymers as well.
