  • What is your main go to polish

When working in volume we want to do the best job in the least amount of time.

I know to make some profit I cant pc every car with 80 and 83. What are you guys using to pump that volume out the door.

I used to buff with wool and quick. Most cars I could have polished in 30 minutes give or take 10 minutes. But it put some shine back in the paint, but that about it.

    Thanks

I don't pump the volume... except for the stereo system in my garage!

I usually do one car a day.

Two vehicles a day is my maximum, and that all depends on if I am doing complete intereior/exteriors or just exteriors.
Detailing is a paying hobby for me, as it takes care of vacation spending andd flying lessons ( after deducting for supplies, of course!)

As fae as the go to polish.. it depends on what has to be done to the paintwork for optiium removal of defects and to bring up the shine. From the most to the least aggressive..

    #9 swirl remover
    #3 machine glaze

I also have some older 3M compounds for the "basket cases" I occasionaly encounter. I follow that up with Meguiar's.

Waxes and sealants of choice are #26 high tech yellow wax and #20 polymer sealant. My jobber doesn't have #21 sealant yet.
