Re: washing and detailing a car
with the above posts. You've certainly come to the right place to learn about washing and detailing.
Don't underestimate the clay bar, either. A lot of people don't fully understand what a clay bar does so they skip out on that step and proceed with the other steps. Don't make this mistake. Follow the 5 step plan as mentioned above and you'll have no worries - just a wonderfully detailed vehicle.A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

As Mike says " Evealuate the finish, choose the right product and use proper technique" On average you will need to go through all 5 steps for regularly used cars in all kinds of weather conditions but there are exceptions to this for well taken car of cars which is why the evaluate the finish step is important.

Re: washing and detailing a car
The main thing to remember is if you follow all of the 5 steps, you will have a great looking car. The key is the prep work. If the prep is not done, the car will not look that much better. Claying is a important step in the prep work. If you follow the five steps you will be very happy. Just my humble opinion. Good luck.quality creates its own demand
