Using my meguiars pc, I started with number 83, then applied a coat of #80, and topped it all off with nxt! Beat that shine.

Thanks Chris,
This detail took almost 8 hours which meant no lunch for the wicked. I averaged about $45 an hour after expenses so you do the figuring. The only pain was the Texas heat which was 94 degrees with a heat index in the high 90's. Luckly the vehicle was in the shade. When I got done, I felt like my arms were going to drop off!Obessed with making it shine!

Looks Great! Check out the reflections, can't say that I have seen a motor coach look that good. I was about to do one (40ft coach) about a month ago and decided against it as I was unsure how long it would take. Now I know might have to take the job the next time. I guess the good thing all the surface is flat, I am sure you can buzz right along.Brandon

The #83 followed by the NXT Tech Wax is a great combination for a 2-step system, especially when working on large rigs like this one.
I've only buffed out one 40' motorhome in my life and after I finished that one I said, [b]"Never again". By the way, when I did my motorhome I had to do it by hand with some #6 because the Porter Cable had not yet been introduced to the paint polishing world yet! Talk about some tired arms! Also it was a motorhome with an oxidized fiberglas gel-coat finish... ouch! I only wanted to do a one-step process and I didn't want to use the rotary buffer on it...
Good job!

Hey car crazy - even though the service is flat, there are a lot of little areas. Buzzing along was not too bad at the start, but by half way through the second coat I was feeling the pain! I will admitt - sleep was nil that night as I was dreaming:
I was detailing the rv and when I got done with each pass it disappeared - so I detailed it again, and again, and again - all night long!!!Obessed with making it shine!

Thanks,I did a three coat process of #83, then #80, and finally NXT. The #80 really brings out the shine after the #83 and topping it off with NXT blows it out the window. Since the motorhome is only a year old, that helps in being able to do it so fast. Then again, experience tells you how to work the shine depending on color.Obessed with making it shine!

44' coach!
No full shots of it though, by the time I and my son finished, it was storming pretty bad outside. The rolling staircase sure made the work easier.
Do you regularly do RVs? That coach is really the only thing that size I do any more. They just take up too much time.Owner, Scott's Mobile Auto Detailing
