Leather Care Routines....

Anyone out there have a leather care routine? Not only for my vehicle but I purchased new furniture last summer and I am not happy with the cleaners I purchased at the furniture store.


The 'system' I have from the furniture store seems similar to:
Gold Class Rich Leather Aloe Cleaner
-and-
Gold Class Rich Leather Aloe Conditioner

Any suggestion or thoughts on Meguiars various leather care products?

I do have some Gold Class Leather Cleaner & Conditioner although its 5 years old or so and in a different bottle.

i use the two step process on my leather in the MINI. Cleaner and Conditioner.

works like a charm. makes the colour pop and gives it that nice new look feel and and shine.

very durable as well.

I've used the Leather Wipes, GC Rich Leather Spray, and now most recently, the 2 step process. I really love the 2 step process overall. Sure, it took longer and was more work, but the results were awesome. My leather has never felt softer nor has it been cleaner! One of these weekends I'm going to use it on my leather furniture, but it has to be a weekend that I'm not detailing my ride

I use the detailer line leather cleaner and conditioner all in one, on my leather furniture. Seems like it does a good job. I used some apc at 10:1 to clean the ottoman. WARNING Do NOT use the interior brush on your leather furniture. Meguiars says it is safe for leather, but thats for auto leather not furniture. I have some nasty scuffs on mine from it.

Thanks for the help.... I think I am going to get the two step system, in a week or two when I get a spring order together. There are quite a few leather cleaners in Meguiars line, I have never really used any of them on anything more than a leather steering wheel.

Hi, For my car leather seats, once a month I apply a lanolin based cream which keep the leather seats its natural look. I hate when the leather looks shinny.

I use Lexol cleaner + Lexol Conditioner on my leather seats and they leave a great feel/finish. Not too shiny, but soft to the touch. I have a 2003 G35 Coupe....so they have been broken in to say the least and Lexol works great on them. In fact, funny you mentioned about the furniture because the only reason I used Lexol was because I got it with my leather couch purchase, I figured I'd use it on my car seats and it worked great. So use Lexol on both
