  • Natural Shine?

    Hi all,

I went to my local autozone today and purchased a bottle of Natural Shine. Would it be ok to go over my interior first using an APC. The APC that I will be using is a 10/1 ratio of woolite & water. 10 = water 1 = woolite.

Then I will wipe the interior with a microfiber towel. Afterwards, I will go over the interior again and dress it with Natural Shine. Would my steps me ok? Any compatibility issues?

    Thanks for the inputs everyone!!

    That should be fine.

The Natural Shine also provides some light cleaning as a part of the formula so unless your interior is really dirty Natural Shine may be all you need.

Apply wet, work the surface a little and wipe off any excess.

Is it better to use a sponge applicator or a cloth (terry or mf) to apply Natural Shine? The reason I ask is because I just picked some up and I used a terry cloth to apply it. It went on unevenly and was a pain to buff afterwards. I did buy a few of the generic round 'waxing' sponges, but haven't tried them yet...it's too hot 93*+ with 70% + humidity.

Not to mention, I don't use protectants on the interior too often, they have always gathered dust too fast to suit me. Tires & rubber molding is easy, spray or wipe on & walk away. I'll admit I'm a newbie when it comes to dressing interiors, I usually clean 'em and leave 'em.

Usually you want to apply a dressing with something that in which the surface of your applicator material will be damp with the product you're applying.

If you're applying a liquid with something that is wet with product in some areas but dry in some areas the dry portions of you application material will be trying to remove or absorb the product off the surface at the same time the damp portions are trying to apply it.

        Make sense?

Our foam applicators wax pads do work excellent for applying dressings.

So I do not get my applicators confused.I like using the even coat applicators for applying interior dressings.

Just applied Natural Shine today for the first time and I love it.
Defenetly will rebuy it if it's empty.

As the name says it gives a deep and natural shine, the interior goes from grey to black and you see a cleaning action, too. The applicator gets a bit dirty.

Tried different ways to apply the product. For me it worked best to first spray the product on the surface and then work it in.

I really like the sheen Natural Shine gives but I can't use it on the dash as it makes my dash too shiny. On the dash I use Quik Intrerior Detailer. This leave the dash looking like new and not shiny at all.
