  • APC and APC+ Ratio??

I have seen some variations on what people run for ratios so I wanted to get more of a consenous on what the average detailer should be running.

Going from Light Soil and Stains to Heavy and then going from the Fabrics such as Cloth, Leather, Vinyl, and different levels of Plush.

This could be a good reference for people going forward. My understanding that APC+ will be considered the Optimal choice BUT if the opportunity came along would regular APC use be a benefit???

For carpet and upholstery, I use APC+ at 10:1. I also use this on wheels, wheel wells, tires. Works well on all interior plastic, too! Plastic trim around door jambs is especially dirty from shoes on the way in and out.

For me, APC+ at 4:1 is for especially grungy carpets / floor mats and seats with embedded stains. I use either a scrub brush or a terry towel.

    I don't use APC+ on leather.

Matt spells it out very nicely, and these are by far the most common uses and dilution ratios for these products. You will find, however, that contrary to Matt's usage restriction on leather many people do use these products at 10:1 on leather without issue.

I was just about to ask that Question as well as I had seen Tuck use it on leather and vinyl with great success.

Also to mention as some of my APC and APC+ just showed up, I see on the back there are also some ratios that are recommended.

I may have to get Multiple bottles for different ratios.

I finally ordered some APC and APC+

I knew 10:1 used only a little product versus water, until I saw the marks on the bottle in person.....holy cow that gallon is going to last a while!!!!

Hard to believe that little bit of product is so effective.
