First time interior Ultimate Protectant

To day I began detailing the interior in my 6 year old Nissan Primera. After having read about the Ultimate Protectant I decided to use it in my car. That was a god choice and can be recommended to all. My car look as when it was new. I applid it by using a soft foam applicator pad. I really like this product but hate the bottle it is in, what a terrible bottle to a fantastic product.

Ultimate Protectant is a GREAT product! A little goes a long way and it revives plastic and trim to like new condition! Anybody who hasn't tried this product needs to pick one up!

You may enjoy the spray version better for interior use. Still spraying onto the applicator, but may be easier.

Thanks for your advice, but it is not because it is diffcult to use the product. The product is very easy to use, its just the botle that is a litle difficult to use the bottle as it tends to give to much product at a time, the product itself is very good.

I took the "spray" suggestion as a way of "metering" the product directly on to the pad to save product.

I have been squeezing some on to a flat piece of plastic and dipping the edge of the pad in it to get the right amount.

I agree, it's a awesome product. I started putting it on my uncle's '87 Camaro Z28 dash, and has yet seen any new cracks on the dash.

I have some new round applicators I bought when I waxed the car.
Will that work for applying this?

Kind of a personal choice.

Some like the foam applicators for dressings. I like the cheap MF towels from Target for using interior products. Some like the Even Coat (MF covered) applicators.

Paul don't forget that the the ultimate protectant can also be used on your cars outside trim and rubber. Just did my husbands trim and molding on his car and it came out looking like brand new. I use the spray for interior and the lotion for exterior. Now I know they are the same but the lotion on the outside is a personal preference because of the way I like to apply it. When using the spray for my interior I use the trip Mike Phillips suggests, burying the spray nozzle in an applicator pad and impregnate the applicator. It prevents excess over spray and waste of the product.

I use it and LOVE it. Off topic but is GC trim detailer/UP/ultimate black all the same thing? I noticed that all 3 smell, feel, apply, and work the same..

The GC Trim Detailer is different I believe. Certainly older.

Ultimate Protectant and Ultimate Black are virtually identical (if not 100% identical). Gold Class Trim detailer is an older product and does not have the longevity that UP/UB does.
