  • Few questions...

    I have some basic questions...

    1) Should I wash my pads after I'm done using them? How do I wash the pads?

    2) When I apply a wax with the 9006 pad, do I apply the product around the edges of the pad like you do with 8006 and #80, or do you apply the wax to the 9006 pad in the shape of an "X"?

    3) If I apply #80 to the whole car, should I follow that up with a pure polish like DCP or #7, or is that not necessary?

1.) Meguiars does not recommend washing your pads. They use a brush to remove the product, and store them in a cabinet for the next use.

    2.) I use and X

3.) Since #80 is high in polishing oils, most go right to the wax. Now I will say I love the extra look on my Black Ram when I use it on my vehicle. But for customers who won't notice the difference, I would pass on the #7. Next time your polishing apply #7, and the other half leave without. Wax both sides evenly, and judge for yourself.
Never argue with an Idiot.. They'll only drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience..
