Hi folks!
Got my PC last week so it was definitely time to give it a try.
I've been using a Bosch DA and rotaries before.
The PC isn't sold over here but after all the reviews about it here on MOL I thought it was time to order one from the US.
So here we have the hood of a 2002 Opel Astra convertible.
As you can see it's pitch black (ummm...... ok.... it probably was....) and has A LOT of swirls. This is after washing with NXT and claying:
I taped off a section on the hood to do a test spot.
Mike is always recommending to start with the least aggressive product.
So I gave it two passes with #80
Here's the result after DC Step 2 and a single topping with NXT paste:
Lots of those nasty stone chips left..... but that's the price you pay for unlimited speed on the german autobahn......
The swirls are gone. And that was the goal to achieve.
I'm pretty much impressed by the PC. It's easy to use. Wasn't able to see a single reason why this should not be my favorite tool from now on.
I also ordered the DVD from showcargarage.com to find out even more about the PC and it's handling.
But now I'm off to do the rest of the car.
Your comments are welcome.
