    Newbie with the G220

    Hey everyone,

    How hard is it to actaully hurt or damage your paint work with the G220?? I just recieved my G220 today but want to find out the do's and don'ts with it...I will be using foam pads (w8006) with a variety of different products like DC paint cleaner, colour x, NXT 2.0, #7, and so on... Do you have to prep the pads at all?? Any help appreciated...

    I think G220 is quite safe and won't do any damage to the paint. I use a Bosch GEX270AE. DA machine are quite safe. Never had any issues. It's 99.9% safe. No worries. Below is how you prime a new pad on the DA machine. Taken from:

      It's very safe, just pay attention to what you are doing and use common sense.
