  • G110 New unit bad or not???

Bought the $159 detailing package from Rick at ADS and I did noticed the G110 is noisey, like 1 bearing is outta wack. Is that normal sound for 1 110 when it's running?
    Thanks
    Carl

I've heard they are pretty loud......but not being there I can't tell ya.....

If it slows down or not power up, give Customer Service a call at Meguiar's

I know it's kinda hard without listening to it. It sounds like a ball bearing is bouncing around or it's missing one.

        It may seem loud.

Call Meguiar's Customer support and see what they say.....

Have it with you and maybe they can hear it on the phone

hehe, so I just had the same issue and posted up on my local car board. A great local detailer has been helping me and made a suggestion on this one.

First, if you squeeze towards the top or otherwise have a pad on and a pad on a surface does that racket decrease? It did with mine. The suggestion was to (if not using the handle) put some bolts in and that would firm it up. I did that with the stock handle bolts and mine sounds a lot more solid now.

See posts 36 and 37 here if interested...
