g110 backing plate with 2.0 pads???

    g110 backing plate with 2.0 pads???

    ok well i just noticed when i took my brand new g110 out and put a new 2.0 pad on that the backing plate they gave me is the smaller one. i know the new pads are larger then the old ones. my question is do i 100% need to buy the new larger backing plate or can i use the reg smaller size backing plate that use to fit the older style pads? lmk thanks guys

    Yes, you can use the backing plate you have but the larger one provides more consistent and even pressure across the pad and was specifically designed for it.
