Worth upgrading to 7424XP from 7424?

    Worth upgrading to 7424XP from 7424?

    Is it worth it, assuming that the cost of the upgrade will run me around $50. (after selling the old one and stuff)....

    At that price margin maybe....anything more than that no. It's not a night and day difference but does offer some power improvements. Everything else is ergonomics so that's more of a subjective preferential thing.

      I'm thinking about selling my G100 (7424) for a Flex machine, but like Bounty said, the XP really doesn't give you much over the old model...
      If a tree falls in the forest and there's nobody there to record the event, how can you be certain that there was a tree or even a forest to begin with?

        Well I got a 7424XP on the way! I wouldve done the flex but the cost was constantly out of reach since I was needing other things and I like being able to interchange backing plates. Is it worth it? Maybe not, I would say go for the flex for some more improvement.

        Or keep the G100 and invest in a rotary and start practicing

          If you already have the 7424 I'd say the xp is not worth upgrading to. But just starting out I'd go with the xp. The old pc will still split a pad so the little extra power isn't "that big" of a deal IMHO. An upgrade from the pc should be the flex

              Just ordered a G110, should arrive Friday. It looked like the best bang for the buck.

                  yeah, the XP is basically the same as the G110....but the G110 is cheaper i think. if i had it to do over again i would have gotten the G110 (bought my PC 2-3 months ago before i knew of MOL)

                    I have both the G100, and the G110. I really like them both. The only thing that i notice is the extra power on the G110. But it is not that big of a difference. I would keep what you have and save up for a rotary.
