finishing pad question

Sorry for the super newbie question, but its been bugging me for a while now...

does anyone here use a fresh w9000 finishing pad to buff off wax/polish instead of using a microfibre? will this instill swirl marks?

reason im asking is an attempt to make removing #7 a bit easier and to make removing #26 a bit easier too...

To remove waxes by machine, you can use a MF bonnet over a polishing or cutting pad.

Cleaners/polishes are usually easier by towel, but you can try by machine if you like.

I've almost all the time used a DA machine to apply glazes/sealants/waxes and a good thick quality MF to remove it. Applying by DA means you get it spread super thin and even, and removing with MF is just the bonus after having done a full car If you're having difficulty in removing #7 / #26 then I suggest you look at how thick a layer you're putting on, and how you're removing it. Since #7 is so full of oils you can't remove it like a wax/sealant - you have to "re-liquidify" it, move on to a different area and then come back to it again.

As to #26 - thin thin layers is the key. If you think you've gotten it too thick - well, then you're way beyond really. Super thin - less is more etc. And believe me - I've learned the hard way too

I always apply,remove waxes, sealants by machine. I use a cutting pad and microfiber bonnets. Just make sure you have a ample supply of microfiber bonnets to remove the product.
