You still didn't answer my question. What is grossly inaccurate? You have thus far shared your opinion, but I do not see any facts showing where something was grossly inaccurate.

Could you extend me the same courtesy please and answer my question whether you have been involved in engineering of both Griot's V2 and G110 V2, or at least have enough of hands on experience with Griot's V2, to be able to state Meguiar's V2 has been engineered better?

It would be only fair you do as you haven't yet answered mine even though I _did_ answer yours (regardless of are you failing to see the answer it _was_ answered, even more than once as part of answer is in this post too).

Well, according to what you said, you only come to post when there is something "grossly incorrect" on MOL. If that is the case, I still don't understand what was grossly incorrect that triggered your first reply? (The one not aimed at me).

But beyond that, if you read my response you will see that I clearly stated it was my opinion.

Were YOU involved in the development of the Griot's machine? Because if I am following your logic, it appears as if the only people who can comment on the capability of the machines are those who engineered them. I didn't know you were an engineer, but if you are we would all love to hear your educated explanation as to why the Griot's machine is as good as the G110v2.

Given that the only substantive posting I can find from you in the last months was the thorough questioning of the technical specs and capabilities of the G110v2 machine, I figured you might be an engineer after all to be qualified to level such questioning. Was I right?

From what I know about English statements "is in a different (higher) league than the Griots machine" and "it was engineered to do more" are not presentation of an opinion but are presenting things as fact.

One can not in any seriousness present opinions as facts and things written/presented as if they are fact bring responsibility for accuracy of them together with them.

I yet have to see post that would justify their presentation as a "fact" but I will drop waiting for it as more than sufficient time and effort have been already invested, I am looking forward to leaving for Xmas eve, and
by now answer should be obvious (at least it is to me).

I agree. I'm here to see if I should buy a DA not to watch 2 guys argue over choice of words. Keep it fun guys and show me pics of why I should buy a DA. By the way, I'm a seasoned detailer with a rotary but I always do my lsp by hand and would like to known if a DA would have any benefit as a complement to my 849.

To answer your question, the G110v2 would be your new best friend for spreading waxes and sealants. Once you use a DA to spread an LSP, you will likely never go back to doing it by hand... if you can help it at least.

I can wax an entire 6-seater airplane in under an hour with a Meguiar's dual-action polisher at my disposal.

I personally do it by hand because I find it a bit less of a hassle than removing it with the DA.

What do I mean by that? Well, to remove it with the DA you need to switch from the finishing pad used for application to a firmer pad like the polishing or compounding pad, and then wrap it in a bonnet.

I find simply doing it quickly by hand saves time and effort. Of course, either way works fine...just a matter of preference really.

Here's hoping this thread doesn't get off track again.

Just picked up a G110v2 myself. I was looking at the PC 7424 XP and the Griot's Garage 6-inch buffer over on Autogeek. I might get one of the two in the future, just to try it out and have an extra one on hand. They both look like very good machines, and I know the PC is highly recommended by many detailers. That being said, I really like the feel of my G110v2. Haven't gotten the chance to use it yet, but I did power it up the other day. It has a good sturdy feel to it, and I think I am very much going to enjoy using this tool. Hope to do a review on it sometime in the near future. For those of you who have used both the PC 7424 XP and the Griot's buffer, what are your thoughts on these tools? Would you recommend one over the other and why? Thanks!
