Pad question

Im going to be using Mirror Glaze Synthetic Sealant 2.0 #21 on my car that im first going to clay bar and wondering what pad to use it has very light swirl marks should i use the yellow or black soft buff pad? Also if im going to do a vehicle with the meguiars #6 cleaner wax would the yellow pad be best if the paint is so so condition? I have the g110-v2


Basically when is it best to use the yellow or black pad

For most cases, the finishing pad (black) is for waxes, and the polishing pad (yellow) is for cleaners, polishes, and cleaner/waxes.
