Has Meguiar's have a date of shipping for the Polisher yet? Is it a new model ( V3 ) or remake V2?

ADS states it should be back in stock late March.

It says nothing about v3. I wonder as well if some upgrades were done.

The production issues with the G110v2 have been successfully resolved and initial deliveries will, as ADS states, occur in late March.

Curious question (s) here. Does the resolution to the production issues mean the electronics on the V2 (ie pwr cord)? If the answer is yes, does that mean "supplier/vendor stock" will be R&R'd? I'm was just curious as I am now on my third unit and "if" I have the same issue, I was wondering if it would be a "new" or a "new reworked" unit? I know the VIN # should indicate which, but I was wondering what was happening to existing inventory at suppliers.

Yes, the quality issues have been resolved and all tools shipping from this day forward are brand new units. Further, however, there were production issues not related to tool quality that create additional delays.

Do you perhaps have the part/model numbers for the different Meguiar's G110 and G220 v1 and v2 DA polishers?

read online somewhere that if it starts with 08xxxxx then it's v2 (but can't rememebr where i read this ???)

I am in the process of purchasing a Meguiar's G220v2 DA Polisher ...
(rubber cord, embroidered Meguiars Canvas Bag, Meguiars W68DA Soft Buff 2.0 DA Backing , etc)

Do you purhaps know the model numbers/Part number for all the different Meguiar's DA Polisher's manufactured ... G110v1, G110v2, G220v1, G220v2, etc ???

Or where I could find them (url) ?

I read somewhere online that the G220v2 model/part number starts with 08xxxxx ... (can't remember where though)

Could anyone confirm this?

You've got the part numbers right there - G110/G220 vs G110v2/G220v2. It's the v2 that makes the difference here as the v2 tool is different from the first gen not only in engineering but just visually as well. The v2 is longer and has external access ports for brush replacement that the first gen lacks. The boxes are marked v2, the tool is marked v2.
