  • DA 3" BP with 4" Pads

I recently purchased the 4" pads with BP and I am not sure how to set it up. It came with multiple adapters and spacers. What is the correct way to attach the BP to the DA? Thanks!

One of the fittings is the same size on both ends and that's the one you want to use with the S3BP. Thread one end into the backing plate and snug it down with an appropriately sized wrench. Don't just tighten it down by threading the plate onto the tool - do that as a separate step to seat the adapter into the backing plate. Now drop the supplied washer over the exposed threads on the adapter before mounting the plate to the tool. This washer is critical to ensure proper clearance between the backing plate and tool, so don't skip it.

Spot on. We introduced that backing plate with our Pro Headlight & Spot Repair Kit, which also comes with our mini air tools and those need a different fitting than an electric DA buffer does. And some other mini tools, or other electric tools, may require still differently threaded adapters. So we've got you covered no matter what.
