This pic if the after effect of using the red pad the cutting pad in speed 5 with meguiar ultimate cutting compound going over the same square about 4 times then i stop clean pad with rag and apply product and start again about 3 times before getting those results as you see the house is blurry is this as good as it gets or is there any product that can make it better? Any tips would be great.

Roof came back decently. But, that car is riddled with clear coat failure. You will need a new paint job at some point.

By red cutting pad I assume you mean the Meguiar's burgundy pads? If so, those can cause some marring and hazing when used on the DA, which looks to my untrained eye like what you're seeing on the roof. If you follow it up with a yellow polishing pad (W8007 or W8207) you should be able to refine the finish to a more crisp look. You could then follow up with Ultimate Polish on a polishing pad (W9007 or W9207) and achieve even more clarity.

yes i am using the Meguiar's burgundy pad. Is there an even more abrasive product then the burgundy pad and the ultimate cutting compound I should use on the really oxidized areas or stick with the combo I got right now. I also have soft buff finishing pad (W9006) and the yellow polishing pad (W8007) with ultimate cutting compound, swirl X and color X. Is there any way i can get rid of the road rash aka chips.

As Shawn mentions, what you have here is full on clear coat failure. We really hate to say this, but the gains you made on the roof are going to be pretty short lived and the finish will dull back down very soon. When a clear coat oxidizes the chemistry of what's happening is vastly different from what happens when a single stage lacquer oxidizes. Those old paints could be buffed out, essentially removed the upper layer of dead, oxidized paint and restoring the gloss and clarity. But the chemistry of modern clear coats means that they actually catalyze and harden, and will then literally break apart when they oxidize. And once that starts, and certainly once it's reached the point that it has on your car, nothing will stop it. Worse still, the underlying color coat will never hold a shine, so even if the clear is 100% gone and all you have left is the color coat, it simply will not hold a gloss. It's just not designed to since the whole base coat/clear coat system relies on the clear coat to provide all the gloss and all the UV protection for the color coat beneath it.

Any attempts to restore this finish, short of a full repaint, will result in you just spinning your wheels. You could spend an entire weekend trying to make this look better, and you would definitely have some result. But you'd be doing it all over again in a matter of weeks, if not several days, and then again, and again, and again, and..........
