Hello everyone. I bought a 012 Ford Fusion back in December. It is a tuxedo black mat in color. After I bought it I was thinking, tough to keep clean. Shortly after the purchase, I found this forum. What a great place to learn the art of detailing. I have been on this site mostly everyday since. Learning all the details on how to keep a black car clean. I have purchased all the products, tools needed to maintain the finish. The Dealership did a great job prepping the car. No DISO. (Didn't know about this prior to purchase.) Today, I finally had time to do all of the detailing steps. Wash, clay (What a great product), polish. wax. All the Ultimate products. It took about 6 1/2 hours to complete. The results were amazing. I was a little nervous prior to the start. Did it in a family members garage. Lighting was good enough. Space was a little tight. I will try to do outside next spring. It was hard to see the product on the surface. No pics. Had to deliver to my wife. By the way, she thinks I'm crazy. (CAR CRAZY). Just wanted to say thank you to all that contributes to this forum. GREAT JOB!
